SAT Subject Tests are different from the SAT because they are designed to measure what you know about specific disciplines. SAT Subject Tests include more than 20 different tests focusing on specific disciplines or subjects, such as English literature, history, mathematics, physical sciences, and foreign languages. Each test lasts one hour and consists entirely of multiple choice questions. Most schools require between 1-3 tests in addition to the SAT.
