Registering for the GMAT is simple and can be done completely online. You are individually responsible for registering to take the test. Your chances of getting the date you want are best if you register 3-4 weeks before the targeted test date.
You can register and pay online with the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) at www.mba.com.
The cost of the test is $250 (taxes not included). GMAC takes most major credit cards. Test dates are available 5 days per week.
To retake the exam, simply follow the same procedure. However, you will not be allowed to take the GMAT more than once in a calendar month.
