FAQs about "Anywhere" courses
Do I need to download software to join the virtual classroom?
No, all you need is an internet browser with an up-to-date version of Flash. Flash is already installed on 97% of internet browsers.
What will I see on my screen when I am in the virtual classroom?
You will see a variety of items which change throughout the lesson, including presentation slides, sample LSAT questions, a question-and-answer box, chat areas, online polls, a webcam shot of your teacher, and an onscreen whiteboard which the instructor will write on just like in a “real” classroom.
Do I need a broadband connection?
It is recommended that you use a high-speed internet connection to avoid any delays when in the virtual classroom. If you have dial-up, you may prefer to take Kaplan’s LSAT On Demand course, which contains self-paced lessons, and so does not require you to follow live online sessions.
What do I do if I cannot make a class?
All Kaplan classes are available as pre-recorded Lessons-on-Demand™ from within the Online Center.
Who can answer academic questions about my course?
We provide academic support to students currently enrolled in a comprehensive Kaplan course. To contact Kaplan's Academic Support Department, please login to your Kaplan LSAT online resources. On your syllabus, look for the "Getting Started" section, and click the "Academic Support" link to submit your questions. You can also submit academic questions directly to your instructor by email for the duration of your enrollment period.

The LSAT Test
Most US law schools require applicants to take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
The LSAT is a skills-based test which does not require you to learn formulas or memorize facts. During your LSAT exam, you will be required to think thoroughly, strategically, and quickly. The LSAT tests critical reading and analytical thinking skills.
You will receive an overall score for the LSAT which ranges from 120 to 180. You will not receive individual scores for the separate sections.
You must register for the LSAT online with the Law School Admission Council at www.lsac.org.
